In a partnership with Lifetime Fitness in Parker, the CRC is recommending this ride to all. Membership is not required to ride, however it is not discouraged either.
Spring is here and it is time to take all of our indoor training outdoors. The Parker Life Time Fitness Cycle Club will be starting our outdoor group rides on March 25th, so get your wheels out and let's ride! This season we will be offering a few pace options on our rides so that everyone can get the most out of our outdoor workouts. With the addition of Allan Kendall and Jerry Shelton to my team, you will have the option to choose a race pace, training pace, or social pace for your ride. So whether you are a seasoned competitor or just picked up your first road bike, you will be able to reach your cycling goals this season.
Here is the scoop on our outdoor rides:
WHEN: Thursdays at 5pm starting March 25th
WHERE: We will meet at the corner of Hwy 86 and Flintwood. To get there from the club, go south on Parker Rd. (approx. 10 mi.) and turn left on
Hwy 86. When you get to Flintwood, turn left and park in the parking lot. We will meet here each Thursday, but vary our routes and
distance (20-30 miles) from this location.
This information will also be posted in the club by the gym and also online at mylt.com. Allan will also be hosting a cycling 101 class on Saturday, March 27th at the club for those of you interested in information about how to change a flat, along with basic cycling tips and safety. There will be a group ride after the class, so bring your bikes and helmets! The class starts at 10am and the group ride will be held at 11am from the club.
I looking forward to riding with each of you this season! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
